• Textiles and Fibers Lecture Sept. 7th

    This lecture is an all around lesson in Textiles and Fibers with a focus on dying and processing fibers.  The speaker is a student at DAAP majoring in Fashion Design who has been raised on spinning, weaving, dying, and processing of all fibers.  She would like to share her knowledge with you and get you thinking about how the clothes around you are made.  There will also be a future lecture in home sewing skills and the basics to tailoring.  This is a lost trade that is very important to the “ReSkilling” movement.  Please email This-Land @ info@this-land.org if you have any further questions or would like to participate in any way.
