Edible Perennial Nursery
This-Land offers more than 120 varieties of perennial edible plants, many rare, versatile, and underutilized, with the aim of giving permaculturalists and gardeners the tools they need to create abundant and resilient landscapes.
All profits from the sales of the nursery go to help raise funds for This-Land and helps to further our mission of creating a Sustainable Region through Education and other Charitable Activities (such as free public workshops on Permaculture). We see this as a win-win for the community as we offer plants at competitive prices that will feed our region for generations to come, while also generating income for our educational mission and awareness raising activities.
Permaculture often draws from an abundant array of plants that can be difficult to source at typical nurseries. We offer a wide variety of nut trees, fruit trees, edible landscaping plants, berry bushes, ground covers, perennial vegetables, nitrogen fixers, and vines to name a few. While we do carry some more ovscure varities, such as the American High Bush Cranberry, we also stock typical favorites like Blueberries, Asparagus and Currants. Experimenting with these plants is not only fun but can add appreciating value to a piece of property (thus our name!).
Certified students of permaculture design courses receive a 15% discount on their purchases with proof with certification!
